As a Staff Engineer at B. Braun, you will play a vital role in ensuring successful execution and delivery of engineering projects involving automation and new manufacturing technologies for packaging solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with R&D, suppliers, and the equipment projects team to define, source, and supervise equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine core aspects and success criteria for automation solutions in packaging and provide technical leadership to engineers in this thematic field.
• Develop User’s Requirement Specification (URS) and Functional Specification (FS).
• Define and accomplish projects in the area of production process automation for packaging solutions in cooperation with internal and external suppliers.
• Collaborate proactively with the global Center of Competence (CoC) group to develop strategies and governance for the core process within the area of regional responsibility (BTC-AP BMI).
• Collaborate with R&D to promote simultaneous engineering for combined product and process development, aiming for manufacturable new products that meet the Center of Excellence’s and division’s needs.
• Conduct early evaluations of manufacturing technology suppliers in the APAC region, providing training concepts and guidance for technical staff in a technical training center.
