Caymex Industrial Solution Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to manage the day-to-day accounting operations.
Job Responsibility
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of E-Invoices practices.
- Collaborate with project management teams to accurately track and report project finances in line with company and industry regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for operational needs.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assessments while ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and compliant with laws and regulations.
- Spearhead the integration of accounting systems that comply with multiple countries’ regulations, including the US, EU, and Thailand.
- Offer comprehensive financial advice and insight to the management team, aiding strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payment of invoices and resolving any discrepancies.
- Guide and assist with the financial onboarding of new team members.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy : Maintain financial records with zero discrepancies.Reporting Compliance : Prepare and submit all financial reports in accordance with Malaysia & US accounting standards, meeting all deadlines.Cost Management : Successfully identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.Continuous Learning : Demonstrate progress in knowledge and understanding of international accounting standards (US, EU, Thailand), applying these to the company's practices.Audit Readiness : Ensure financial operations and records are in a state of readiness for unscheduled audits, targeting zero non-conformities.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) will be advantageous.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably within the engineering or Project Management / consultancy sector.Strong understanding of accounting software e.g. AutoCount, MS Office, especially Excel.Knowledge of Malaysia and US GAAP; familiarity with EU and Thailand financial regulations is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or financial inconsistencies.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Job Benefits
