Electrical Engineer, Design & Commissioning - 2 years contract

Job Responsibilities

• Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Work closely with team members to actively participate in the design and advancement of electrical systems for data center projects.
• Possess experience / knowledge in electrical design and an understanding of equipment such as switchgear, UPS, transformer, switchboard, etc.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ensure all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards.
• Provide input over the design and development of equipment designs as they progress through the design process.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering documents such as P&IDs, SLDs, layout diagrams, and other project documents or procedures.
• Provide direct support to vendors, suppliers, and construction sites to ensure project schedules are met, resolve anomalies, and streamline operations to improve efficiency.
• Develop design improvements that reduce cost and risk and / or improve performance and reliability.
• Support and participate in the installation and testing of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Willingness to function in multiple job roles simultaneously and collaborate with various disciplines for smooth project execution.
• Willingness to work at construction sites to provide engineering support to the construction team.
• Compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental policies.
