Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer / IT Field Services Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, delivering exceptional technical support, and consulting with clients to implement effective IT solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT support engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide advanced technical support to clients via phone, email, remote tools, or on-site visits.
  • Consult with clients to understand business needs and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Manage and maintain customer records, software licenses, renewals, and maintenance contracts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues (Level 2 / 3 support).
  • Set up, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and endpoints.
  • Deliver support for IP PBX and Unified Communication systems (e.g., 3CX, MS Teams Yeastar, Yealink).
  • Participate in and lead ad-hoc IT projects as assigned by management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and receive ongoing training on technologies such as 3CX, Microsoft, HP, Cisco, SonicWall, Logitech, and cloud / on-prem IPPBX systems.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support experience, with 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, Firewalls, VC and IP telephony systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL are an added advantage.
