You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data governance leaders to define scalable solutions that enable data warehousing, migrations, modernizations, and integrations at enterprise scale. This role requires a strong technical foundation in cloud data platforms, experience managing agile product backlogs, and the ability to align delivery outcomes with business goals. Your work will be pivotal in enabling actionable insights, privacy-compliant data sharing, and long-term platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and features for engineering teams.
  • Prioritize and groom product backlog based on value, complexity, and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams to ensure product features are delivered with high quality and aligned to timelines.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and product demos.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional alignment to unblock teams and ensure delivery momentum.
  • Gather requirements for integrations, data flows, and pipeline orchestration from business and technical users.
  • Leverage analytics and telemetry tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake dashboards) to track product performance, adoption, and usage trends.
  • Ensure documentation of product features, requirements, use cases, and data lineage is complete and up to date.
  • Partner with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud data modernization initiatives including legacy migrations, ELT / ETL transformations, and secure data sharing strategies (e.g., Snowflake Clean Rooms, Databricks Delta Sharing).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably focused on data platforms and cloud-native ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and data pipeline architecture (batch and streaming).
  • Hands-on experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data modeling principles (e.g., star / snowflake schema, normalization).
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP) or product management (e.g., CSPO).
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or other infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and metadata management tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra).
