Job Description
Scope of Position
Assist Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Air Export Department while ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight and providing exceptional customer service.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Track and trace Air Export files and reporting
- Communicate arrival notices to overseas parties and customers
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
- Interact with our customers to arrange their international shipments, meeting customer‑service standards
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers (airline carriers, trucking companies, and others)
- Meet compliance at all times with internal and external regulations in accordance with government requirements
- Understand department process flow and seek best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Ensure all customer standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the SOPs
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
- Respond to overseas communications and internal / external emails and requests in a timely manner
- Escalate problems to Management when necessary
- Complete mandatory training when required
- Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride
