We are establishing our first international presence in Malaysia, launching in December 2025, and are looking for driven pioneers to build our market share from the ground up!
Opportunity : Building a Market
We are seeking ambitious and resourceful Sales & Marketing Executives to spearhead our market entry and drive aggressive user adoption in Malaysia. This role is critical for securing our initial merchant base and establishing brand awareness.
We welcome applications for both Permanent (Full-Time) and high-impact Freelance (Contract) roles.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
- Merchant Acquisition : Actively identify, pitch, and onboard e-commerce sellers (SMEs, online businesses) to utilize the Maulagi.id platform, with a strong emphasis on our logistics and daily COD disbursement service.
- Strategic Growth : Manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals with key clients and potential partners.
- Localised Marketing : Contribute to and execute effective marketing campaigns tailored to the Malaysian market to drive seller and consumer sign‑ups.
- Market Intelligence : Serve as the eyes and ears for the team, providing crucial feedback on local market trends, competitor activity, and required product localisation.
What We’re Looking For
Experience : Minimum 2+ years of proven success in Sales or Business Development, ideally within the e-commerce, logistics, or technology‑startup sectors in Malaysia.Local Market Knowledge : Strong understanding of the Malaysian e‑commerce ecosystem, local SMEs, and logistical challenges.Language Proficiency : Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage for broader market penetration.Entrepreneurial Mindset : Proven ability to thrive in an ambiguous, high‑growth environment and hit ambitious launch targets.Type of Engagement & Lucrative Compensation
