Electronics Senior Engineer - Based in Puncak Alam or Petaling Utama

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Senior Engineer to join our team at Intec Display Sdn Bhd. This full-time role will be based in either Puncak Alam or Petaling Utama, offering the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the LCD Display industry. As an Electronics Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial part in the development and improvement of our products and solutions.

What youll be doing

  • Design and develop electronic circuits for Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) systems, including LCD, OLED, TFT, and capacitive touch interfaces.
  • Work with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and interface protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc.).
  • Develop and debug firmware / software for HMI applications.
  • Integrate sensors, drivers, and controllers into HMI hardware.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and UI / UX teams to ensure smooth system integration.
  • Conduct performance validation, reliability, and environmental testing.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing, quality control, and customer application issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in HMI technology, embedded systems, and display innovations.

What were looking for

  • Bachelor s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of display technologies (LCD / TFT / OLED) and touch technologies (capacitive, resistive, projected capacitive).
  • Experience in embedded system design and microcontroller programming (C / C++, RTOS, or Linux).
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD).
  • Knowledge of EMC / EMI considerations, power management, and signal integrity.
  • Experience in GUI frameworks for embedded systems (e.g., Qt, TouchGFX, Embedded Wizard) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

    • Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Android / Linux system integration for HMI.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CANopen).
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
  • Familiarity with cloud or IoT connectivity for HMI solutions.
