Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a retail environment, with a solid understanding of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and product merchandising concepts.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in any space planning software (Spaceman preferred and / or AutoCAD).
- Competent with Excel & Word.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with data-driven decision making.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills to enable more data science driven space planning initiatives.
- Eagerness to learn, ability to work independently, and manage tight deadlines and a fluid workload.
Responsibilities
Deliver planogram creation and maintenance to meet business needs of regularly scheduled and adhoc requests for merchandise sets, new stores, remodels and special projects.Collaborate with Category Management to create visually compelling planograms based on store clustering, space definitions and defined flow, adhering to agreed service level agreements (SLA).Evaluate planogram performance and effectiveness to provide actionable insights and optimize product placement across different store formats; and articulate the findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Identify opportunities and challenges to enhance space performance, propose innovation solutions, and implement category assortment optimization strategies.Develop strategic macro space layouts for new stores and analyzing existing performance to ensure optimal category space for maximizing sales and customer flow.Work closely with Format managers to create and maintain store plans and integrate relevant planograms.Maintaining a high-quality database in support of the software system.Stay current with industry trends and competitor strategies to incorporate best practices into the design.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in space planning and merchandising operations, providing guidance and support across various projects and initiatives.Benefits
