Responsibilities
- Develop annual and long-term objectives for direct reports.
- Measure performance of direct reports against success criteria and provide feedback.
- Attract, hire, and develop top marketing talent.
Planning and Analysis
Drive local country Marketing Strategy Formulation to define winning product strategies customized for the local market that drive significant growth in the country.Lead strategic planning efforts, working in partnership with Sales Managers, to develop a fully detailed country business strategy.Develop market strategies aimed at maximizing market share, promoting prolific new product launches, and building brand awareness and customer loyalty.Set strategic direction for all franchises and ensure alignment of tactical planning, execution, and control through direct reports.Design and implement conferences / symposium strategies and tactics to support the country plan.Product / Market Management
Conduct literature searches, physician interviews, focus groups, and advisory boards as necessary to understand and define potential new market opportunities.Guide Product Managers to develop customized messages and selling tools for the local market.Champion the local implementation plan with Product Managers and the country Sales Force.Execute ongoing identification of new opportunities and markets to be explored.Work with operations teams to manage the supply chain for products.Develop, lead, and manage the execution of new product launches.Work with Sales Managers to ensure sales reps are adequately trained.Develop downstream sales tools to support sales execution.Provide active field support to the local franchises sales force.Product Development
Communicate market needs to regional marketing teams.Conduct continuous product evaluations and provide feedback to regional marketing teams.Contribute to prioritization input for new product development.Building and Maintaining Relationships
