Job description

Software Engineer, Platform - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary : MYR5,000 - MYR8,000 per month

Responsibilities

  • Strong technical skills in Java Springboot. Knowledge of mobile app development stack is an advantage.
  • Familiar with various DB SQL for monitoring, debugging, enhancement.
  • Monitor health status of the system to ensure healthy function of the system, including system health and errors of customer transactions. Familiarity of the following tools are an advantage : Dynatrace, LaaS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to be able to use various tools and understand user flows to isolate issues quickly and effectively.
  • Perform deployment of UAT and Production following change procedures and raising change requests.
  • Monitor open QC defects and monitor the implementation and deployment of the fixes.
  • Familiar with CI / CD tools is mandatory : Bitbucket, Bamboo, Dimension etc.
  • Familiar with Appstore and Playstore uploading of binary.
  • Ability to write scripts to enhance automation in monitoring.
  • Weekend and midnight BAU support required.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of database SQL.
  • Experience with Dynatrace and LaaS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Deployment experience for UAT and Production environments.
  • CI / CD experience : Bitbucket, Bamboo, Dimension.
  • Appstore and Playstore publishing experience.
  • Automation scripting skills.
  • Availability for weekend and midnight support.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.
