Application Support

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise applications. This role acts as the first line of support for application-related issues and collaborates closely with users, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents, implement fixes, and optimize system performance.

Application and Technical Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and coordination with vendors for annual maintenance and fixes.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to application vendors and monitor progress to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and manage deployment of application fixes across UAT and Production environments.
  • Ensure all program releases are properly controlled, documented, and compliant with internal standards.
  • Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application changes.

System Monitoring and Optimization

  • Continuously monitor application performance and identify opportunities for enhancement to improve reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Oversee and ensure successful completion of End-of-Day (EOD) and End-of-Month (EOM) processes.
  • IT Administration

  • Assist in organizing and managing IT-related meetings and documentation.
  • Support the tracking and approval process for system renewals and licensing.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR)

  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for supported applications.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining DR strategies and documentation.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in application development and support.
  • Strong programming foundation and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Results-driven and achievement-oriented.
  • Proficiency in software development and system design.
  • Solid technical support capabilities.
  • Additional Advantages

  • Experience in the financial services or banking sector.
  • Knowledge of XML technologies (XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
  • Familiarity with Java, Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, or Python.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Loan, Accounting, Treasury, and / or eInvoice platforms.
