Manager, Security & Traffic (Kuala Lumpur) Overview Manager, Security & Traffic role based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for security, traffic management and site operations coordination with clients, subcontractors, authorities and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the client on all matters related to security, traffic management and site operations.
Oversee day-to-day hard services operations, ensuring high performance from site teams and timely incident resolution to maintain business continuity.
Assist in coordinating and supervising work activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to enforce high standards of workmanship and ensure strict adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.
Plan and manage the allocation of resources including manpower, equipment, materials, and plant to ensure efficient project execution.
Liaise with subcontractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to proactively resolve issues and ensure smooth project implementation.
Ensure all traffic management operations are implemented and maintained in accordance with regulatory standards and approved plans.
Coordinate with site managers to ensure alignment with approved traffic management plans, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
Monitor portfolio financials to ensure achievement of contract revenue and profitability targets, while optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, or a related discipline from a university recognized by the Malaysian Government.
Minimum 10 years of experience in security and traffic management, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or facilities-related industries.
At least 5 years in a managerial role, specifically handling security and traffic operations in high-grade commercial complexes.
Possess a valid Traffic Management Officer (TMO) certificate issued by CIDB.
Proven experience in engaging with LLM (Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia) and other relevant authorities on traffic-related matters.
Additional qualifications or experience in infrastructure or construction management will be an added advantage.
