Hiring for Compliance and Employee Relations Specialist Industrial Relations Specialist (IR / ER) Your New Company

A leading Technology company is looking for an experienced Industrial Relations / Employee Relations Specialist to join their fast-moving company based in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role As an Industrial Relations Specialist,you'll be advising on various industrial relations matters such as counselling, disciplinary actions, terminations, grievances, investigations, and employment legislation. It contributes to the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with Malaysian legislation and industry best practices. Additionally, the role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective staff engagement on industrial relations issues.Your responsibilities include but are not limited to : -

Managing industrial relations matters such as comprehensive planning in resolving company-wide disciplinary matters - including conducting investigation and holding domestic enquiries.

Providing support, guidance and recommendations to the business process labour disputes and grievances in a proper and timely manner . Monitor and ensure Company-wide compliance by educating managers on a range of employment laws topics to ensure legal compliance

Practising such as review of the code in ensuring that it is in line with company’s initiatives and aspiration . Manage the annual employee acknowledgement exercise and ensure compliance of the Code by the employees

Creating and initiating awareness sessions / organize awareness programs

Risk Management – assess and identify the potential risks that may hinder the reputation of the Company and financial loss

What you'll need to succeed

Experienced in Industrial Relations / Employee Relations related matters.

Good communication skills, able to work with different stakeholders from all level.

Familiar with Industrial Relations, Employment Acts, Labour Laws and Counselling & Coaching
