Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, drainage, buildings, and other infrastructure.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and surveys to gather data.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure all works comply with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
- Supervise contractors and site workers to ensure quality and timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving during construction.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for management review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional certification / registration (e.g., BEM / PE) is an advantage.Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates may also be considered for junior roles).Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.Unlock job insights
