Sales Training Executive (Technical & Customer Handling)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sales Training Executive to lead technical and customer handling training programs across our BYD and Denza vehicle range. You will be responsible for equipping Sales Consultants with the product knowledge and customer engagement skills needed to represent cutting-edge technologies in electric vehicles.
This role combines deep automotive technical knowledge with the ability to communicate and educate effectively, ensuring our salesforce delivers an exceptional customer experience from first contact to after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop Technical Training Modules covering engine components, transmission mechanics, and vehicle structure (AWD & FWD) across all BYD & Denza models.
- Translate complex technical concepts into simplified, digestible content for Sales Consultants’ easy understanding.
- Organize Test Drive Training in safe, controlled environments to demonstrate ADAS features, intelligent cabin systems, and product functionality.
- Train sales teams on After-Sales topics, including service schedules, warranty packages, and product care.
- Product launches & new model briefings
- Internal staff product updates
- In-depth training sessions for test drive instructors
- Review and update product knowledge quarterly to reflect changes in competitor models, technology advancements, or new feature introductions.
- Conduct refresher courses and follow-up training at the principal site for hands-on learning.
- Perform on-site visits to evaluate how well training participants are applying their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
- Prepare training materials including handouts, reference guides, and visual aids to reinforce learning.
- Develop assessment materials (quizzes, exams) to evaluate training effectiveness.
- Create and participate in the production of training videos for in-house use and showroom display.
- Plan and coordinate the annual training calendar, including scheduling, participant invitations, venue booking, catering, and vendor invoicing.
- Continuously propose improvements, new training methods, and innovative approaches to boost training outcomes and engagement.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Education, Business, or a related field.Certifications in automotive systems or adult learning (e.g. ASE, Train-the-Trainer) are a plus.3–5 years of experience in automotive training, technical sales support, or a related role.Demonstrated ability to deliver product training in corporate or dealership settings.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.Confident and engaging public speaker with strong facilitation and presentation skills.Hands-on experience with automotive systems, especially EV (Electric Vehicles), is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and schedules effectively.Application questions
