Project Engineer

1) To assist Plan and request the related training to meet quality objectives.

2) To assist Plan and conduct on-the-job training from time to time as when necessary. On-the-job training shall conduct with commensurate to the level of education the employee.

3) To assist in managing the Engineering processes and related outputs compliance to its SOP.

4) To assist in managing the achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).

5) Data collecting, analysis and update the relevant record to ensure production quality, safety & environment standards are complied with.

6) Be an APQP team leader in program management and project facilitation. Organize & chair project meeting.

7) Lead the APQP team and ensure that project schedule and product specifications meet or surpass customers' expectation.

8) Responsible for total program management and development from ESI / DFM involvement, tooling development, tooling modification, first article submission, samples preparation & submission, preproduction, approval and to production.

9) Review and approve engineering documents prior to production release based on customer specification and requirement.

10) Review customer 3D data and drawings, bill of materials (BOM), specification and standard part TDS.

11) Review DFM, PFMEA, process capability study, stack up tolerance study for product design and requirement.

12) Develop process flow, bill of materials (BOM) and process drawing for new product / customer requirements.

13) Develop packaging standard and instruction for the product.

14) Initiate Engineering Change Deviation Notification (ECDN) and Internal Change Request Form (ICRF) and update of the latest product specification and drawing from customer.

15) Review First Article Inspection Report (FAIR).

17) Conduct tracking of assigned projects through all phases of development and implementation.

18) Coordinate the design, order and tracking documentation of new equipment and revisions.

19) Work with customers and prepare documentation for new tool and equipment approval.

20) Evaluate projects and communicate the progress of projects to all areas affected to ensure smooth New Project Introduction (NPI).

21) Follow up and feedback to customer on quality complaint and corrective actions during project development stage.

22) To maintain proper filling for all respective document.

23) Ensure the checklist / forms in use are compliance to EMS / QMS.

24) Perform other tasks / duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements :

1) Diploma & above in Mechanical engineering / Material engineering or At least 3-5 years of working experience in similar field / position.

2) Having knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485 & IATF16949 is a MUST.

3) Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.

4) Relevant technical know-how, project management, APQP, ISIR / PPAP.

5) Other competences : Responsibility & independently, secrecy, attentive, agility, strategic thinking and leadership

6) Candidates who are able to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage, as the role involves regular coordination with Chinese-speaking clients and suppliers
