Responsibilities

Conceptualize and execute quality product photography and videography for online and offline marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal.

Manage the entire photography and videography workflow, from pre-production planning (storyboarding, shot lists, location scouting) to post-production editing (colour correction, sound design, motion graphics).

Operate and maintain photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio recording devices, ensuring optimal performance and addressing any technical issues.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual content strategies that align with marketing campaigns and target audience preferences, contributing creative ideas and insights.

Edit and retouch photos and videos to meet quality standards and brand guidelines, optimizing them for various platforms (website, social media, print) while maintaining visual consistency.

Maintain an organized digital asset library, ensuring easy access and retrieval of photos and videos for internal and external stakeholders, adhering to file naming conventions and metadata standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest photography and videography trends, techniques, and technologies, continuously improving skills and knowledge to enhance the quality and impact of visual content.

Qualifications

Diploma in Photography, Visual Communication, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in photography and videography, specifically within a retail or e-commerce environment.

Proficiency in photography techniques, including lighting, composition, and styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing product photography skills.

Expertise in video shooting and editing, with the ability to create engaging and high-quality video content for various platforms (e.g., website, social media).

Strong skills in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Excellent understanding of visual communication principles and the ability to create visually appealing content that aligns with the brand's aesthetic.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.

Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.

Experience in creating content for social media platforms, understanding best practices and optimising content for different channels.

Knowledge of current trends in photography and videography, with a passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and techniques.

Must be willing to work onsite in Cheras, Selangor, Malaysia.
