Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team in

Malaysia or Singapore . The role will support the successful execution of IT projects for a leading life sciences company, with a focus on Data and Process Improvement (PI) initiatives. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Assist in managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases for assigned IT projects. Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to ensure timely and quality delivery. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs. Support IT project governance by adhering to the organization’s project management standards and methodologies. Facilitate regular project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Provide status updates to senior project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in project management, preferably within IT or life sciences industries. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent). Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
