PALM ERA, a US-based marketing agency, is looking for a Junior Paid Media & Content Specialist with a strong entrepreneurial spirit based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Summary
The Junior Paid Media & Content Specialist will support local and regional campaign activation, including Social Media, AdOps, and Content Creation. Some hands-on campaign support will be needed. You will work closely with the Sales and Accounts team during the pre- and post-campaign proposal stage.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of digital marketing strategies for assigned clients, tailored to their specific requirements through campaign proposals.
- Assist with the management of the paid media budget, ensuring efficient allocation and optimization to maximize ROI.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across various digital channels, including paid search, display advertising, social media, and email.
- Optimize clients’ advertising campaigns on multiple paid media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google & Programmatic.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, content, and product teams, to ensure cohesive and integrated performance marketing strategies.
- Ideate, propose, and help execute creative strategies to increase the efficiency of assets across all channels.
- Assist in the development of creative visuals of digital campaigns together with other functional teams.
- Produce short-form copy (such as for social media postings, ads, emails, etc.).
- Work with clients and other external content creators, such as influencers, to create video content for digital campaigns.
- Conduct analysis of campaign performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Support management of third-party contractors and consultants on deliverables.
- Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reports as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a relevant field.Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a Digital Marketing Agency as a Media Planner, Account Manager, or in a Strategy & Performance role.Experience with Facebook Ad Manager, Google Search, Display, Google Analytics tools, Programmatic, etc.Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Software (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).Flair for designing visually appealing collateral.Basic video-taking / editing skills are an added value.Detail-oriented with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask.Able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.Fluent in spoken Chinese (Mandarin) is required; writing ability is a plus, but not required.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong analytical skills.Employment Type
