Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented

Account & Finance Manager

to lead our finance team and manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. The role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while providing insights to drive the business forward. Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Manage and monitor all day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, fixed assets, and cash flow management. Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing, sales, and financial reporting. Manage the year-end closing process and coordinate external audits. Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and operational procedures. Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and collaboration within the team. Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders as required. Negotiate with payment processors, banks, and external partners to secure optimal terms. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support business initiatives. Manage relationships and negotiations with banks, payment processors, and external financial partners. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or CIMA) and tax literacy / knowledge are both considered added advantages. 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting. Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role within the finance sector. High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly. Experience in reporting financial performance to senior business leaders. Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the finance industry. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
