Role
The IT Infrastructure Manager plays a vital role in supervising the daily management of the organization's technology and security systems. This position is key to maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of the IT environment that underpins essential business operations. The role also includes leading project implementations across local and regional scopes, aligning infrastructure initiatives with strategic objectives, and protecting the organization's digital assets and information systems.
Responsibilities
- IT Operations Oversight : Ensure the smooth functioning and upkeep of core IT systems, including servers, networks, smart boards, and associated hardware / software, with a focus on system reliability and uptime.
- Security Administration : Implement and monitor enterprise security protocols such as MIM, firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus tools. Proactively assess system health, address vulnerabilities, and lead timely OS patching based on risk severity.
- Project Delivery : Drive the execution of IT initiatives by developing detailed plans, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project goals and communicate progress effectively.
- Policy & Compliance : Establish and enforce IT infrastructure and security policies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Team Development : Lead, coach, and support the IT team to cultivate a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Vendor Relations : Oversee external partnerships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Business Continuity Planning : Maintain robust disaster recovery strategies and conduct annual drills to safeguard operations against system disruptions or security incidents.
- Financial Stewardship : Manage the IT budget, balancing cost efficiency with service quality and infrastructure resilience.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Network or a related field is required.Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL and / or other relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure, Microsoft 365, etc. are highly desirable.A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operation and security management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
