We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer & Project Engineer to join our talented team at JSWC Systems Integration. What you'll be doing

Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimise mechanical systems, components, and processes
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to ensure the viability and success of projects
Oversee project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Project Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Excellent project management and time-management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
