Overview

Section Head, UI Design I role at RHB Banking Group.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product design development from discovery to launch.
  • Monitor and analyse post-launch performance and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Consult on all aspects of product design, removing any design impediment from the development cycle.
  • Hands‑on design and mentor designers to deliver user‑centric and innovative product solutions.
  • Manage design capacity, resource allocation, and the quality of deliverables.
  • Facilitate design workshops and conduct UX research.
  • Craft holistic user journeys across all touchpoints and identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Synthesise UX research findings and present insights and recommendations.
  • Formulate product approaches aligned with business objectives and user adoption.
  • Lead the approval process of design and prototype validation.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in digital design, Human–Factors Interaction, or equivalent.
  • Any related accreditation in UX research, Design Thinking, or agile is advantageous.
  • Min. 8 years of working experience in product development with at least 2 years hands‑on UX research experience.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in managing and leading a design team.
  • Proven record of delivering end‑to‑end product design and a solid portfolio.

  • Facilitation of workshops and group dynamic management.
  • Proficient in UX research and practical experience in UI / UX development for multi‑platform.
  • Fluent in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, and Adobe Cloud.
