About the Role :
DIRI is looking for a Junior Shooter who’s hungry to grow. You’ll be the person behind the camera for interviews, B-rolls, social explainers, and viral reels. One day you might be shooting on an iPhone; the next, you’ll be on a DSLR setup with lights. You’ll also manage digital assets post-shoot, ensuring smooth file handovers to our post-production team.
This is a moldable role , ideal for someone early in their journey who wants to learn fast, shoot often, and be part of a team that blends creativity with storytelling impact.
Responsibilities
- Capture interviews, explainers, behind-the-scenes (BTS), and social content using DSLR cameras or smartphones.
- Set up and operate basic lighting and audio equipment to ensure consistent visual and sound quality.
- Manage and organize all footage backups on location and ensure proper file naming and documentation.
- Coordinate gear bookings, checkouts, and returns with DIRI’s equipment arm.
- Assist with footage selects, rough cuts, or short-form edits when required.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and editors to ensure smooth transitions between production and post-production.
- Support creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for visual storytelling and shooting techniques.
- Manage the end-to-end digital workflow from set to post-production.
- Organize and back up footage during shoots, ensuring file integrity and secure storage.
- Create proxies for efficient editing workflows and prepare projects for seamless handoff to editors.
- Export short-form content for social media distribution when required.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain organized storage systems, and ensure all digital assets are archived properly.
- Ensure smooth operation between production and post-production teams through meticulous file management.
Must-Have Qualifications
