Job descriptionQualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years (junior level) or 5 years (senior level) of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on testing web, Android, and / or iOS applications. Proficiency in testing methodologies for web, Android, and / or iOS. Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Charles Proxy and Jira. Experience with automation frameworks is a strong advantage.
Our client is seeking a self‑motivated and detailed‑oriented Software Test Engineer to deliver exceptional user experience. The role involves ensuring mobile platform software quality on‑site at Mercu 2, KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze complex software systems and design testing strategies.
- Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions.
- Develop customer‑centric test scenarios that extend beyond stated use cases.
- Participate in release management and post‑deployment testing.
- Use bug‑tracking tools to identify, prioritise and track defects across platforms.
- Design test plans, write test cases, and review functional requirement documentation for each platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (web / Android / iOS developers, QAs, product managers, and designers) to understand platform‑specific requirements and ensure consistent quality standards.
