Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Panel Claim Officer / Pharmacist to join our clinic’s finance and administrative team. This position focuses on Panel Claim Management , ensuring accurate billing, timely collection of payments, and proper reconciliation of panel and insurance claims. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good communication with panel partners, and a sound understanding of healthcare billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and submit panel claims to corporate, insurance, and third‑party administrators (TPAs) accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Monitor claim rejections, pending approvals, and unpaid claims, ensuring prompt resubmission or clarification to panels.
- Maintain organized documentation of all submitted, approved, and rejected claims.
- Liaise with panel companies, TPAs, and insurance representatives to resolve discrepancies, delays, or disputes.
- Ensure compliance with each panel’s claim format, tariff code, and policy requirements.
- Update and maintain the panel claim tracker / AR aging report for management review.
- Work closely with clinic operations to ensure proper recording of panel visits and claimable services.
- Coordinate with the Resident Doctor and Clinic Manager for medical report requests or justifications required for claim approvals.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Pharmacy, Health Administration, or related field.Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in accounting, billing, or panel claim management (preferably in healthcare or clinic setting).Familiarity with panel claim systems (e.g., HealthMetrics, PMCare, Mednefits, or similar platforms) is an added advantage.Good analytical, communication, and follow‑up skills.Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.Team player with a positive working attitude and professional integrity.Benefits
