Senior Executive - Compliance Assurance

Responsibilities

Accountabilities :

• Assist Head ofpliance Assurance in the implementation ofpliance Assurance Plan which includes refresher ofpliance Risk Assessment ("CRA") and implementation of several assurance tools underpliance Review such aspliance Independent Review ("CIR") andpliance Self - Assessment ("CSA").
• Lead and assist team member in validation of various statistical reports to regulatory bodies ( PCRF, CCRIS, Cash BOP, JFA and other ad-hoc BNM reporting requirements).
• Reporting to Senior Management and Board on the results of thepliance risk assessment undertaken, highlighting summary of incidents of nonpliance and key changes in thepliance risk profile as well as areas where greater attention is needed.
• Providing rmendations of corrective measures to be adopted by BUs where internal control to address regulatory requirements and continuous monitoring of progress of corrective measures by BUs.
• Design / enhance and execute thepliance Self- assessment ("CSA") for BUs to perform assessment on regulations applicability and validate their management ofpliance risk according to particular rules and regulations.
• Promptly following up on any deficiencies and plans to address such deficiencies and the status of implementation.
• Partnership with stakeholders across business and support units for business growth and success. Constantly engaging stakeholders on their key processes with regulatory impact. Report and follow up with the results of the review, gaps and areas of improvement, track and ensure closure of issues.
• Assist in submission of relevant regulatorypliance reports to regulatory bodies onpliance matters.
• Lead and provide guidance to team members to perform the review and other assurance tools effectively and efficiently.
• Supervise junior reviewers to ensure that assignments meet timelines and objective.
• Assist to provide assurance to senior management and Chiefpliance Officer that the bank'spliance are adequately managed.
• Assist in consolidation of issues, slides preparation to be tabled at various meetings.
