Risk Compliance Manager

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and update internal policies and controls. Identify, assess, and monitor business risks, maintain the risk register, and implement mitigation measures.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BNM, SC, Bursa, FIMM, etc.) and update internal policies and controls.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor business risks, maintain the risk register, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Conduct compliance / risk assessments, scenario testing, and prepare reports for management, Board, and regulators.
  • Manage regulatory submissions, audits, inspections, and respond to inquiries from authorities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, advise departments on compliance matters, and support awareness training.
  • Promote compliance culture and oversee monitoring of company / employee activities to prevent breaches.

Requirements :

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in compliance and / or risk management within financial services or capital markets.
  • Knowledge / experience in payments, money changing, remittance, and EMI regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of capital market rules, regulations, and practices.
  • Excellent command of English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across all levels.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
