Job description

Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting :

  • Develop and manage the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and identify variances.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance :

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SST and E-Invoicing).
  • Manage the company's tax obligations and ensure timely filing.

    • 3. Financial Analysis & Reporting :

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to directors.
  • Develop and implement financial performance metrics and dashboards.

    • 4. Team Leadership & Development :

  • Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.

    • 5. Other Responsibilities :

  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to financial matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, MIA, CPA, CMA, etc).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a finance management role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., SQL Accounting, etc).
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
