About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at AH WEI AUTO PART & 4X4 ENGINEERING' in Durian Tunggal, Melaka. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems and other automotive components
  • Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tyre rotations and alignments
  • Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex problems
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed
  • Ensure workshop is kept clean, organised and well-stocked with necessary parts and tools
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years' experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a workshop setting
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics and repair techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately to tight deadlines
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
  • Certification in automotive repair or related field is highly desirable
