Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) with a strong background in operations and corporate management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing business performance, driving operational efficiency, and leading organizations through growth and transformation.

As DCEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact strategies that align with the company's vision and long-term goals. You will lead cross‑functional teams, build a performance‑driven culture, and ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop and execute long‑term strategic plans in alignment with the Board of Directors.
  • Anticipate industry trends and proactively position the organization for sustained growth.

Change Management

  • Lead enterprise‑wide change initiatives including digital transformation, cultural alignment, restructuring, and operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain a change‑ready culture by fostering communication, transparency, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee change impact assessments and implement structured change methodologies.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure efficiency across departments.
  • Optimize processes and systems to drive performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • People & Culture

  • Build and develop a strong leadership team with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Champion a people‑first approach, promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and representative for the organization with key stakeholders, partners, and investors.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the financial health of the organization through effective budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth, partnerships, and funding.
  • Key Requirements

    Experience

  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a C‑suite or senior executive operations role.
  • Strong background in corporate organizations with exposure to governance, performance management, and scalable systems.
  • Proven experience in managing complex operations and driving business transformation.
  • Exceptional operational and financial acumen.
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands‑on leadership style.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence, build consensus, and drive change.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (required).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a reputable institution (preferred).
