Overview

This position plays a key role in ensuring that all BMS and EMS are well maintained and consistently operating at peak performance to support business operations. Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the day-to-day utility & facility operations to ensure smooth manufacturing operation, compliance to GMP, Dexcom and Malaysia’s safety / environment standards and legislative regulations.
- You support and work closely with all Plant EHS and Quality initiatives and targets.
- You are responsible for the day-to-day Utilities Operations (Utilities & Facilities, Maintenance, Automation & Control) to ensure smooth manufacturing operation.
- You ensure the Building Management System (BMS) & Environment Monitoring System (EMS) run smoothly. Spares / consumables inventory meeting critical maintenance requirement.
- You continuously innovate operations to improve asset and resources utilization.
- You are responsible for review and development of specific documentation, procedures and site change control processes for equipment and process.
- You participate in ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- You lead, manage and coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to implement in accordance with the scope of work, company’s, and local codes.
- You support and work closely with all Plant EHS.
- You are responsible for review and development of specific documentation, procedures and site change control processes for equipment and process.
- You manage the preventive maintenance and calibration program for facilities equipment in regard to BMS / EMS
- You identify and execute improvement and optimisation activities for BMS / EMS
- You carry out other work or task as directed by Manager.
What makes you successful
You are proficient in facilities systems automation and controls. Able to demonstrate sound knowledge in facilities system controls and relevant instrumentation.You are able to understand BMS / EMS architecture and commission / validate the systems independently. Has relevant experience in green field start-up of facilities control systems.You demonstrate good knowledge in IT related set up for BMS / EMS systems. Understands IT security requirements pertaining to installations.You have strong understanding and experience of GMP & EHS requirements and external / internal audits.You have strong business and customer focus.You have good engineering problem solving skills, workload resource planning and prioritization skills.You are organized and good team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure.You have knowledge on Lean Sigma tools ( 5S / Pareto / 5 why / DMAIC / RCA / Fish bone analysis) will be added advantage.You have Knowledge on ISO standards for medical devices will be an added advantage.What you’ll get

Experience and Education Requirements
Requires a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or related qualification and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience
