Overview Our Client, a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, is looking for Consultants to join the project. The Technology and Operations function comprises five teams with distinct capabilities : business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work together to harness technology to support physical and digital banking services and operations, including developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems and banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches. The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 production support for Core Banking Investment & Wealth Advisory applications.

Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues within agreed SLAs.

Collaborate with business teams to address functional queries in Wealth Management & Advisory workflows.

Support application deployment, change management, and patch upgrades using DevOps tools and practices.

Monitor and ensure stability of applications across multiple client segments.

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.

Document issue resolutions, workarounds, and functional / technical SOPs.

Partner with L2, development, and business analysts to deliver seamless support.

Skills Must have

Hands-on experience with DevOps practices

Strong understanding of Wealth Management & Advisory domain

Investment advisory services

Client segment-based solutions (Retail, HNI, UHNI, Institutional)

Experience in .NET and SQL-based applications

Knowledge of MS-SQL database management (not DBA level)
