Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MBSM) provides finance, leasing, insurance, and back-office solutions that power the sales of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Malaysia and Singapore. As we continue to drive excellence across the Cluster Malaysia-Singapore region, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Specialist to join our Finance & Controlling team.
Task Descriptions :
- Oversee the full month-end closing process and ensure timely and accurate Financial Statement (FS) reporting for MBSM.
- Conduct product analysis in collaboration with Sales / Product Development, and respond to HQ Accounting queries.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing GL processes and portfolio reconciliation accuracy.
- Ensure portfolio and bank reconciliation gaps are minimal, justified, and resolved within expected timelines.
- In charge of Bank Statements interface files, bank reconciliations checking for all MY & SG Cluster companies.
- Lead preparation of working files and Audited Accounts, liaise with Auditors and Company Secretary to ensure a clean audit with no management letter.
- Ensure MBSM Balance Sheet open items are tracked, cleared, and fully justified.
- Handle SST (Sales and Service Tax) configuration and ensure accurate bi-monthly submissions to Royal Malaysian Customs.
- Liaise with the Accountant General department for accurate and timely reporting of unclaimed money.
- Manage Cluster company Genesis data and respond to HQ inquiries.
- Any other ad-hoc task as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifikationen
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting field or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or general ledger accounting.Skills and Competencies
