Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prepare monthly Consolidated Financial Statements for the Group;

Prepare quarterly bursa announcement and board papers;

Ensure timely and accurate monthly / quarterly / year-end closing for all group companies.

Review and analyze management accounts and financial reports of the Group of companies;

Liaise with external auditors, provide and prepare all documentations as necessary and support the completion of the audit jobs;

Liaise with tax agent for tax related matters. Lead and review of tax estimation of the Group to ensure the tax estimation is at optimal provision;

Continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and identify areas of improvements to the existing process flow for effectiveness and efficiencies;

Assist in forecasting and budgetary process of the Group;

Prepare monthly cashflow forecast; and monitoring cashflow, expenditure and profit projections;

Review and ensure proper authorization on all payment;

Coordinate the preparation of annual reports;

Ensure all the Statutory Deadlines are met to avoid any late payment or submission penalties;

Perform any other duty & responsibility which the immediate superior or the company may assign from time to time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Degree in Finance / Accounting and / or part qualified professional qualification, i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, MIA
Financial Reporting and Group consolidation accounts knowledge
Familiar with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
Minimum 5 years of working experience; relevant in construction / property development industry will have added advantage
Preferably Candidates with audit background in big / medium audit firm.
