Our cloud-based, API-driven platform is the backbone for all our software products deployed on worldwide markets, storing data from appliances and users and supporting both generic and product-specific functionality. We develop our own user experiences as well as collaborate with third-party developers. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developers who can create a modular, scalable, and extendable architecture that serves both generic and application-specific needs. We operate in a DevOps-style on Microsoft Azure and AWS, combining PaaS services, open-source components, and custom modules to solve problems with the least complexity at the time.

Location and work model : While embracing a hybrid work model, the main location is our office in Petaling Jaya. You will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.

What you’ll do

• Analyzing needs together with product managers, UX and other developers
• Participating in product design sessions with input on technical feasibility, scalability, extendibility, performance, and maintainability
• Designing and operating solutions using a mix of Cloud-native PaaS services, open-source components, and implementation in mostly Java
• Participating in team activities including OKRs, sprint planning, scrum stand-ups, demos and retros
• Contributing to team improvements in process, tools, technology and communication
• Writing clean code according to the set code style
• Designing and developing functional, unit, and SIT tests
• Participating in PR review sessions
