Job Summary :
The Senior Associate for Commercialisation Programme plays a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and managing the end-to-end operations of MRANTI’s commercialisation programmes and initiatives. This role involves stakeholder engagement, programme execution, and supporting companies, startups, spinoffs and technopreneurs in scaling their innovations domestically and internationally.
Job Responsibilities :
- Programme Management :
- Plan, execute, and monitor the programmes, ensuring alignment with MRANTI's mission to accelerate innovation and commercialisation.
- Develop timelines, objectives, and KPIs for programme activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement :
- Liaise with companies, startups, spinoffs, corporate partners, investors, and government agencies to foster strong collaborations.
- Act as the main point of contact for programme participants and mentors.
- Training and Development :
- Coordinate and manage workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking events.
- Identify and onboard mentors and speakers who align with programme objectives.
- Event Coordination :
- Organise demo days, business matching events, and pitch sessions for companies, startups and spinoffs to showcase their innovations.
- Manage logistical and operational aspects of programme-related events.
- Monitoring and Reporting :
- Track the progress of startups / companies throughout the programme and provide regular updates to management.
- Collect feedback and prepare detailed reports on programme outcomes and impact.
- Resource Development :
- Assist in sourcing partnerships to expand programme activities.
- Maintain a database of resources for participating companies, startups, and spinoffs including funding opportunities and industry connections.
- Operational Excellence :
- Ensure programme activities comply with MRANTI’s policies and standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all activities and communication with stakeholders.
Job Requirements :
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.Proficiency in English in Bahasa Malaysia is required.At least 3-5 years of experience in programme management and operations, startup ecosystems, or related fields.Proven track record of working with incubators, accelerators, startups, spinoffs, and / or innovation agencies.Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyse, and present data effectively.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools or project management platforms (e.g., Slack, Trello, Asana) is a plus.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship.
