L2 Application Maintenance & Production Support

Experience Level : 3–5 years (Minimum 4 years relevant experience)

Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled L2 Application Maintenance & Production Support Engineer to support and maintain applications on the SWIFT platform (AMH / AMG / SAG). The candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day monitoring, troubleshooting, and application‑level support activities in a secure financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support for production incidents and service requests related to SWIFT applications.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, log analysis and escalated unresolved issues to L3 or vendor support.
  • Manage application setup, configuration, and periodic license renewals.
  • Support routine deployments, patching and change implementation.
  • Ensure incident documentation and knowledge base updates for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with audit, security and operational guidelines.

Technical Skills

Mandatory :

  • SWIFT Solutions : AMH, AMG, SAG
  • Operating System : RHEL (or equivalent Linux distro such as SUSE Linux)
  • Database : Oracle Database 19c
  • Security Understanding : Prior experience in a secure financial environment; Basic understanding of audits, encryption, 2FA / MFA
  • Familiarity with SWIFT message formats (MTxxx) and ISO20022
  • Nice‑to‑Have :

  • Shell Scripting (Bash / KornShell)
  • Application Server : JBoss
  • Web Server : Apache
  • Java Spring Boot exposure
