Reporting into the Regional Leader- Legal, Risk & Compliance, you will be joining our business at an exciting period of change and development for the Risk Agenda, with broad involvement in a wide range of risk activity for Lockton’s business in Asia and exposure to senior stakeholders in our business.

Based in our Malaysia Office, you will assist the business in implementing the ERM policy, and supporting the Risk and Control Committee and appropriate Boards to evidence oversight of, and compliance with Lockton’s risk management approach.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain risk registers through active engagement, training support and challenge.
  • Develop risk registers to include risks specific to the unit and project risk registers for any projects undertaken.
  • Provide analysis and management information to help Divisional leaders evidence effective risk management in compliance with the ERM.
  • Train Divisional risk champions to use the systems to their fullest potential.
  • Produce management information required to build reports for committee and Board meetings.
  • Conduct focused risk analysis in selected areas.
  • Monitor the use of the system and risk registers to ensure they reflect the stated Divisional strategy.
  • Monitor risks in excess of appetite and support the business unit in developing actions to reduce risk to within appetite.
  • Capture significant incidents and emerging risks and determine if new generic risks or controls are needed across the business or for specific units in response to emerging risks or incidents.
  • Lead the support of users in their use of risk systems.
  • Lead the identification and delivery of enhancements and developments to the system to enhance risk management buy-in and embedding.
  • Gather and collate all required information.
  • Enhance and implement fit-for-purpose systems and controls to ensure activities are conducted efficiently and accurately.
  • Work closely with Lockton Brokers to ensure the programme covers all necessary risks and activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as finance, accounting, economics, business administration, law, or statistics.
  • Experience in Insurance is desirable but not essential.
