Process & approve claims and payment within limits of approval for AirAsia Travel PA ("AATPA") Insurance claims in accordance with Company policy procedure. Provides quality (prompt & fair) claims service to meet customer satisfaction. Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the Company's Claims Service Standard and / or Bank Negara's Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices (Minimum Standard).
- Handles, investigate, negotiate and settle claims within authority limit in accordance with company policy. Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the Company's Claims Service Standard and / or Bank Negara's Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices (minimum standard).
- Type of claims for handling are AATPA Fast Track and Non Fast Track claims.
- Handles Claims in such a way as to maintain the Company's reputation for high quality service and customers satisfactions (speedy and fair dealings).
- Review / follow-up on all outstanding claims on regular basis to ensure claims reserve are adequate and status updated during the review exercise. Maintain a low pending ratio of outstanding claims (prompt disposal of claims to reduce numbers of outstanding claims).
- Informs and updates senior or Superiors on any deficiency on policy coverage and adverse claims trend so that corrective measures could be taken by the appropriate departments.
- Assist in organizing workflow and allocation for effective handling of claims. Ensures that policies, procedures are followed. Service standard maintained and claims data processing input are accurate and maintained at a high standard.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Registered a new claim via online, handling walk in customer & etc.
Skills & Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
Solid understanding of insurance claims handling processes, with experience in General Insurance or Travel Personal Accident preferred.Familiarity with Bank Negara Malaysia Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices (Minimum Standards).Proven ability in claims investigation, negotiation, and settlement within authority limits.Experience handling both Fast Track and Non-Fast Track claims will be an advantage.Strong analytical skills to review reserves, identify trends, and recommend corrective measures.Proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable working with claims processing systems.Behavioral & Soft Skills
