Now, we’re on the lookout for an Assistant Finance Manager who is ready to drive impact, lead with numbers, and fuel our financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare full set of accounts including relevant accounting schedules for regional entities.
  • Assist in budget and forecast preparation.
  • Conduct project investment return evaluations, project budget monitoring, and analysis.
  • Perform analytical review of financial statements—including profit and loss, balance sheet, and trend analysis—and report financial performance by comparing actual results, financial KPIs, and ratios with past data.
  • Coordinate and liaise with HQ Finance Manager on monthly financial statement presentation and analysis.

Treasury Management :

  • Handle treasury function, including operational project cash flow management, maintaining cash book, bank reconciliation, and preparation of cash flow forecast.
  • Ensure debtor collection and payment process in a timely manner.
  • Manage daily cash flow, banking transactions, and fund transfers.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital requirements.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and coordinate group-wide payment cycles.
  • Liaise with regional banks, handling overseas fund remittance declaration and cross-border fund transfer matters.
  • Taxation & Compliance :

  • Assist in reporting or communication with local stakeholders—including shareholders, partners, local tax, and accounting firm.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (direct and indirect taxes) for assigned countries.
  • Ensure audit finalise within deadline with minimum audit adjustments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Support :

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and auditors.
  • Assist in corporate secretarial matters and communication with local partners, shareholders, and regulators.
  • Internal Controls & Process Improvements :

  • Support risk management initiatives and help improve internal controls and finance processes.
  • Participate in system upgrades, automation projects, and implementation of best practices.
  • Other Duties :

  • Support investment analysis and project evaluations.
  • Assist in corporate exercise assumed by the Group and corporate secretarial matters.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis and tasks as assigned by the Senior Finance Manager or senior management.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Experience :

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in audit and tax is a plus.
  • Exposure to regional finance operations or renewable energy industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles (MFRS / IFRS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven track record of working in a complex, multinational environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English is preferred.
