A company in the precision manufacturing industry is hiring for an Assistant Engineering Manager (Maintenance) position. This organization is known for its commitment to high-quality production and continuous improvement in manufacturing systems. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful engineering initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and supervise maintenance activities for stamping machines, tooling, utilities, and plant facilities.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure permanent solutions are in place.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective maintenance scheduling.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and contractor activities.
Drive machine improvement and facility upgrade projects aligned with safety and production goals.
Monitor equipment performance KPIs and initiate improvement plans as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 years of experience as Maintenance or Engineering management in a manufacturing setting, proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
