MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
Director (Department of Admissions and Credit Evaluation)
The successful candidate will oversee the strategic and operational management of the complete student admissions and credit evaluation lifecycle. The candidate is expected to direct / enhance admissions and credit evaluation processes through continuous improvement initiatives as well as ensuring compliance with educational policies while upholding academic integrity, fairness, and transparency in admissions and credit transfer practices. The candidate will also lead, supervise and support the admissions team to achieve departmental goals.
Deputy Director (Department of Facilities Management)
The successful candidate will be assisting the Director in the overall planning and supervision for major development projects. The candidate will also be involved with the implementation of renovation, alteration and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate must provide the maintenance support of mechanical & electrical equipment and systems as well as technical support for University official functions and events.
Human Resource Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and the University's human resource and talent strategy to fulfil current and future talent needs. The candidate is expected to manage the HR system, performance evaluation, teaching permit, contract employment, section budgeting, reporting and ensure all relevant HR policies and best practices are applied consistently and in compliance with the Employment regulations and Malaysia Quality Assurance practices etc.
Manager, Research and Development - Centre For Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR)
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the TAR UMT research culture, opportunities, collaborations, strengthening institutional performance and championing national and global research priorities. The candidate is also expected to coordinate the data and monitor institutional performance metrics related to MyRA, SETARA, QS ranking, and other research-related audits.
Manager (Department of Student Affairs)
The successful candidate will involve in coordinating and managing the daily operations of the Division / Units to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to students and external parties. This includes supervising the delegation of tasks among officers and administrative assistants; providing guidance and advice on daily sports operations, and offering feedback to enhance performance and efficiency. The individual will also ensure the adherence to rules, regulations, and guidelines in the implementation of sports centre programmes, activities, and events. Responsibilities also include preparing reports, attending meetings, conducting briefings, and ensuring accurate documentation of all activities and operations.
Facilities Management Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that a building and its services meet the needs of occupants by managing maintenance, security, cleaning, and other essential aspects of the facility. They oversee all aspects of building operations to ensure safety and functionality. This includes managing staff, contractors, and budgets, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
International Marketing Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing related activities such as education fairs, school visits, open day and other marketing events deemed necessary.
Finance Executive
i)Tax
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, service tax, and other relevant taxes. Responsibilities also include prepare of tax estimation, tax-related reports and analyses to the Management. Liaise with the relevant tax authorities, government agencies, tax consultants, and other external parties on all tax related matters. This role involves managing tax documentation and record-keeping on information required for tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities and coordinating with tax consultants. The individual also has to ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations, staying current with any changes or updates.
ii) Accounts
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in monthly accounts closing, including preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules and related matters. The individual also requires to assist in daily operations, and maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entries into the accounting system, to perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding discrepancies items (i.e. bank accounts, fund and bank balance, etc.). Other responsibilities also include to assist with the preparation of audit schedules and tax returns for submission, handling of statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements financial reporting standards, identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the finance department. This role also requires to liaise with external authorities (auditors, bankers, related government authorities) where required.
Student Counsellor
The successful candidate will deliver services and programmes aimed at supporting students' mental and emotional well-being through individual counselling, interventions, outreach programmes, self-enrichment workshops, events, and activities.
IT Personnel
i) Teaching & Learning Support Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of the e-learning system, provide support and conduct workshops / training to students and staff on the use of the e-learning system, develop web services and applications for e-learning.
ii) Videographer
The successful candidate will be responsible in the planning and organizing video shoots of events, designing and development of graphics and video contents in support of corporate branding, product marketing and training, providing AV support and live video streaming services for university’s events.
iii) Laboratory Executive (Computer)
The successful candidate will be responsible in the operation and administration of the computer laboratories to ensure smooth operation, schedule lab assistants monthly lab duties, planning and managing laboratories booking, liaise with the faculty on their lab booking request, maintaining and troubleshooting of computers, coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance, Report and follow up on building defect issues or any lab facility maintenance / repairing works, supervise the student ID card printing process.
iv) System Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible in designing, implementing, and managing server systems and applications, monitoring and maintaining server performance, security, and availability, troubleshooting and resolving system issues promptly and effectively, performing system upgrades, patches, and security updates, developing and maintaining system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations.
v) Technical Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as well as basic network connectivity issues, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment such as projectors, screens, microphones, resolving AV issues includes sound problems and video display problems.
Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations and administrative works of all the laboratories / workshops / centre.
Clinical Psychologist
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our students through individual psychotherapy sessions, interventions, outreach programmes, self-enrichment workshops, events and activities.
Activities and Sports Coordinator
Facilities Management Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out new building projects, detailed inspections of buildings and campus compound, execute all operation & maintenance activities of the campus as well as supervise all works being carried out by contractors and suppliers.
Senior Executive / Executive
