Asset Management Engineer

About the role

The Asset Management Engineer is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets across Nexperia's global infrastructure. This includes hardware and software inventory, procurement coordination, compliance tracking, and optimization of asset usage.

The role supports IT operations, financial planning, and cybersecurity efforts by ensuring accurate asset data and governance. Responsibilities and expectations vary by job grade.

What you will do

Junior Asset Management Engineer

• Support day-to-day asset tracking and inventory updates.
• Assist with hardware and software provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Maintain asset records in the ITSM system (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Help coordinate with vendors for deliveries and returns.
• Perform basic audits and reconciliations of asset data.
• Respond to asset-related service requests and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure accurate asset tagging and documentation.
