We are seeking a Business Insights Senior SME to drive performance and decision‑making through advanced analytics. This role will be crucial in translating sophisticated data into actionable insights for various business units within BP.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of sophisticated analysis and modelling techniques to identify key business drivers and opportunities.
• Apply advanced analytics methodologies to interpret complex datasets, providing clear and concise recommendations to partners.
• Apply strong commercial foresight to understand business needs and translate them into solutions, focusing on performance management.
• Develop and implement performance management frameworks, including the establishment of key performance indicators and regular reporting.
• Build compelling and informative data visualizations to communicate complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments, to support strategic financial planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate planning processes and ensure alignment between business objectives and analytical outputs.
• Perform comprehensive investment appraisal, including cost‑benefit analysis and risk assessment, to support capital allocation decisions.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills.
