Job descriptionDegree in Accounting / Finance or related field. CGPA of ≥ 3.00 or equivalent. Qualified accountant from a recognized professional accounting body (e.g. MICPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with strong numerical skills. Excellent report writing, analytical and logical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Melayu and English. Additional languages will be an advantage but not a requirement. Experience in financial modelling, business analysis, systems transformation, audit and business partnering will be an added advantage.

Join MRT Corp We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as Assistant Manager / Manager, Commercial / Project Financial Controller , responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis and monitoring of commercial / project activities. Key responsibilities include preparing performance reports and board papers, conducting financial modelling and simulations, and managing budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial / project performance against budgets and targets.
- Prepare monthly corporate reports, including setting up and maintaining dashboards.
- Prepare forecasts.
- Coordinate the annual budget preparation process.
- Prepare financial models for commercial / project pursuits.
- Participate in tender evaluations.
- Prepare board papers.
- Assist in system transformation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Management.
