Head of HR – APAC & Middle East at Quess Corp
Location : WP. Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws and company policies.
- Manage HR documentation including employee records, contracts, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).
- Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to execute end‑to‑end recruitment for corporate and project roles.Oversee onboarding to provide a seamless experience for new hires.Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.Employee Engagement & Relations
Organize employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and team‑building activities.Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution.Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing workplace culture.Performance Management & Learning
Support performance management cycles, including goal‑setting, mid‑year reviews, and appraisals.Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements.HR Projects & Initiatives
Support strategic HR projects such as HR process digitalization, policy development, and workforce planning.Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to align local initiatives with global HR frameworks.Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.4–7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR executive or assistant manager role.Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and HR compliance requirements.Experience across multiple HR functions (recruitment, engagement, performance management).Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.What We Offer
