SECURITY ASSISTANT (GRADE KP1)

Requirements

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government; OR
• Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM)  in a related field recognized by the Government; OR
• Former police or military personnel with a minimum rank of Constable or Private or an equivalent rank, who have been confirmed in the position, possess a good service record, and are able to speak, read, and write in Bahasa Melayu proficiently; OR
• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government, and Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 2 in a related field or a qualification recognized as equivalent; OR
• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government, and Malaysian Skills Certificate Level 3 in a related field or a qualification recognized as equivalent; AND
• Meet the following physical and sensory requirements :
• A minimum height of cm for men and cm for women without footwear;
• A minimum weight of 48kg for men and 46kg for women;
• A Body Mass Index (BMI) between the range of 19 to 26;
• Normal chest measurement of 81cm at rest and 86cm when inhalation (men only);
• Pass a separate vision test for both the left and right eyes with a minimum acuity of V6 / 9 without using spectacles or contact lenses.
• Good color perception and hearing; and
• Certified physically fit for service by a registered government medical practitioner and confirmed by IIUM.
• Must pass the Physical and Fitness Screening Test during the university's selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• Proficiency in spoken English or Arabic is an advantage.
• Honest and trustworthy, with a positive and mature attitude, and the ability to face challenges and solve problems.

• Copies of academic and other relevant certificates must be CERTIFIED and brought to the interview session. (Certification by a Grade A Government Officer or higher).

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credit (at least C) in Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
