Key Responsibilities
Develop new products and improve existing ones to meet taste, texture, colour, flavour, nutritional content, shelf life and packaging needs.
Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure food products are safe, meet specifications and comply with regulatory standards
Design, plan and improve manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency and consistency
Perform and coordinate sensory evaluations to assess consumer acceptance and predict market reception and food product
Ensure all product and processes adhere to food safety regulations, hygiene rules and industry standards
Work with cross-functional teams, including researchers, product developers and production staff to drive innovation
Investigate and resolve issues related to food production, quality and regulatory compliance
Required Skill and Knowledge
1) A strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology nutrition and food processing technologies
2) An inquisitive and analytical mind to investigate issues and effective solutions
3) The ability to meticulously follow instruction and standards in a laboratory or production setting
4) Diploma / Degree in Food Technology. Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
